Please let us know
Published on November 24, 2016 By Neil Banfield In WindowBlinds

If you have compatibility issues with WindowBlinds and an application or game, please do let us know in this thread so we can investigate it and hopefully resolve the problem.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of WindowBlinds first and that the problem exists with a theme included with WindowBlinds vs a downloaded one.

Please provide as much detail as you can, screenshots of the problem, information on the application itself, how to reproduce the problem and if possible dmp files from any crashes.

The information on the about WindowBlinds page and information on your setup would be helpful too.

Yes, however Supermium brings back support for --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar. It now works fine with that argument. However Supermium also has a flag for the same thing, which is better (since it works even if not launched from a custom shortcut), however WindowBlinds seems to not work with the flag. I have performed many tests and diagnosed that WindowBlinds is now at fault, namely due to WindowBlinds excluding Supermium unless the --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar flag is used.

I am afraid WindowBlinds cannot detect flags set inside of Chrome.  It can only detect using the command line.  Without that it correctly excludes the process to avoid half skinning it.

I realise that WindowBlinds cannot detect flags, however I would like an option to force-include Supermium, overriding the automatic exclusion.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is known that some application can not work with Windowblinds properly. Please try to exclude this application from Windowblinds. Refer screenshot below.

Lian Li L-Connect 2
There is a L-Connect 3 available now. I assume it is compatible with older products but I don't know. Have you tried that version yet? I can't test it because I don't have any RBG (and it's a 400+ meg download?!?) https://lian-li.com/l-software/

Thanks! This works!

I know, but it slows down my PC and does not work very well at all, so I went back to L-Connect 2

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You should be able to set WB to ignore any application that is not compatible with WB, by setting it into per application list.

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try to add the launcher.exe to Windowblinds ignore list. Something like screenshot below.

Thanks
