Please let us know
Published on November 24, 2016 By Neil Banfield In WindowBlinds

If you have compatibility issues with WindowBlinds and an application or game, please do let us know in this thread so we can investigate it and hopefully resolve the problem.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of WindowBlinds first and that the problem exists with a theme included with WindowBlinds vs a downloaded one.

Please provide as much detail as you can, screenshots of the problem, information on the application itself, how to reproduce the problem and if possible dmp files from any crashes.

The information on the about WindowBlinds page and information on your setup would be helpful too.

If I had to guess, it sounds like some anti-cheat software with battle.net is causing a conflict.

Can I please have some help with the issue that I raised? I would prefer it if I could raise a individual topic or a email rather than it be mixed in with loads of other issues.

Thank you.

Hello,

Prefer if you could create your own thread so we can give a better attention to it. And those pictures you link above is no longer available.

Thank you,

Firefox (latest version as of June 8, 2019) doesn't play well with windows blinds.  Minimize button does nothing.  Maximize button minimizes, and red X closes as it should.  Any suggestions for this?  Chrome seemed to work okay, but has gotten too bloated for me to want to use.

EDIT: on a new installation of Windows, the issue is gone

Issue with notepad (and other simple text editors like Paddy).

Windows 10 X64 1809, WindowBlinds 10.8, Diamond skin

The first line is too close to the border, and the upper part of the scroll bar is too high.

Try this. Firefox's 3 bar menu -> Customize -> (Bottom left) Tick check box "Title bar"

I've noticed that sometimes with the Windows 10 Calculator the title bar won't show up on the app unless you minimize it and then restore it.

Guys, anybody seen this screwed explorer window with the search window missing(corrupted)?

Started on one of the Win 10 insider updates (now I'm on 18945.rs). The WB is 10.82. The theme is "Base Carbon" but it happens on all the themes I tried, except "Default". For regular Windows (no WB) it doesn't happen.

Is it something with the WB or my Windows system got screwed?

It's probably because you using the Win 10 insider OS. StarDock doesn't update WB until the final version of Win 10 comes out.

I have the same issue with the version Win 10 Pro 1903, build 18.362.10015. This is a final version of Win 10.

Similar issue with the download dialog window of Firefox 68.0.2 (x64)

As can be seen - no search box.

I have Window Blinds version 10.8.2 installed.

Hello,

Build 18362.10015 is still a preview build not an official Windows 10 release. As mentioned, Stardock only support the official release of Windows 10. That said, I believe, Stardock support and Dev team are aware of these issues. Thank you for your report.

Screenshots are no help in showing that the boundary boxes for window elements are off.
